eSnipe is FREE to join and FREE to use for a 10-day trial period. During the first 10 days you can enter up to 30 bids for free. Or, better yet, make your first BidPoint purchase, verifying your identity, and you can enter UNLIMITED bids during your first 10 days for free. You're under no obligation, unless you use eSnipe after the trial period. After the trial period, you only pay if you win an auction using eSnipe - lost auctions don't cost you a penny. And please note that our eSnipe Privacy Statement guarantees that we won't share your personal information with any third parties. The personal information collected by eSnipe in Step 1 of our New Member Enrollment form is used by us to contact you. You don't have to supply your name - it's optional on the form - but if we have your name, it makes communication with you more personal. The Name field on the form is for your full name, for example, "Jane Smith." E-mail is a required field. We need this to contact you with bidding information and updates. And your country is required for accounting.
The eBay information we collect on Step 2 of our New Member Enrollment form is used by us to place bids for you on eBay. We need both your eBay username and eBay password just the way you would need both if you were to bid directly on eBay yourself. To use eSnipe, you'll need a username and password to log in to your personal account. Since eSnipe allows you to have more than one eBay account, your single eSnipe account (with a single username and password) could contain several eBay accounts (all with different usernames and passwords). As far a choosing password goes, we suggest a password that's at least 5 characters long, with no spaces or special characters. To create a really secure password, combine letters and numbers. After choosing your username and password, write them down because you'll need your username and password each time you log in to eSnipe.
