(UPDATED 15:45 PST) From 11:47 to 15:10 PST eBay was experiencing server problems causing a small number of bids to fail with "eBay connection problem" or "Missed auction end" bid result. December 11 - eBay network problem (afternoon)
(UPDATED 16:35 PST) From 15:53 to 16:16 PST eBay was experiencing a problem with its network which caused some bids to be missed with "eBay connection problem" bid result. The problem appears to have been resolved, but as always, if you have a critical bid we recommend you place it manually on eBay. October 3 - eSnipe ISP problem (afternoon)
Starting at 14:56 and continuing as of 15:30 PDT, One of our ISP's is experiencing a network outage which caused a very small number of bids to fail with 'Missed auction end', or 'eBay Connection Problem' bid results. August 7 - eSnipe ISP problem (morning)
From 06:00 to 06:25 PDT, One of our ISP's experienced a power outage which caused some bids to fail with 'Missed auction end', and 'Execute Error' bid results. Users experienced trouble reaching our main website. All issues have now been resolved and eSnipe is operating at 100% as of 07:55PDT. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and will issue BidPoints to customers whose bids were impacted.

From 18:53 to 19:12 PST, there were eSnipe server problems that caused bids to fail with "Execute Error" and "Missed auction end". We apologize for any inconvenience this caused and will issue BidPoints to customers whose bids were impacted. This was caused by a software bug which now that we know about we will fix so it does not cause any issues in the future.
December 10 - ISP Outage (afternoon)
From 14:34 to 15:04, our primary ISP experienced a network outage which caused bids to fail with "eBay Connection Problem" bid result. November 23 - ISP Outages (evening)
(UPDATE: November 24, 11:45 PST) As of November 23, 2010 at 20:45 PST, our primary ISP has recovered from their network outages. We have had no server issues since that time and we do not foresee any further issues related to the ISP problem. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
Between 19:22 PST to 20:20 PST, our primary ISP experienced intermittent power outages which caused a series of problems. Users might have had problems reaching eSnipe's home page, preventing bid entry. There were also a number of bids missed with the results "eBay Connection Problem" and "Missed Auction End" during this time period. We apologize for any inconvenience that these outages caused and continue to work with the ISP in hopes that these problems will not continue. Since we are responsible for the ISP that we use, we are issuing BidPoint credits to those whose bids failed. We continue to monitor this situation and will update as thing change.
November 23 - eSnipe server problems (morning)
From 07:26 to 08:02 PST, there were eSnipe server problems that caused bids to fail with "Execute Error" and "Missed auction end". Also users would have had problems reaching the eSnipe webpage and entering bids. We apologize for any inconvenience this caused and will issue BidPoints to customers whose bids were impacted. This appears to have been due to another power outage at our ISP location, we don't yet have details on the exact cause but will update this server status when it they are known.
November 20 - eSnipe server problems (evening)
From 20:31 to 21:21 PST, there were eSnipe server problems that caused bids to fail with "Execute Error" and "Missed auction end". Also users would have had problems reaching the eSnipe webpage and entering bids. We apologize for any inconvenience this caused and will issue BidPoints to customers whose bids were impacted. This appears to have been due to a lightening storm at our ISP location which caused a power outage, as soon as the power was restored our server administrators worked hard to restore bidding.

July 14 - Trouble Using PayPal to Purchase BidPoints
(Wednesday 13:20 PDT) Some users have experienced problems purchasing BidPoints using PayPal. For some of these users the button to take you to PayPal's website to finish the purchase was missing. It appears that PayPal made a change that caused this problem. We have put a fix up for this issue. If you had a problem with a PayPal purchase it is recommended that you try again and
contact support if the problem persists.

(Sunday 18:28 PDT) Between 17:54 and 18:02 PDT, one on eSnipe's main ISP location had troubles reaching eBay. This caused a number of bids to fail with the result "eBay Connection Problem". We apologize for this and do not expect further problems from the ISP. We will be issuing BidPoints to users impacted by this outage.
August 16 - eMail Delivery Problem (Continuing)
(Sunday - 13:15 PDT) We have received reports from a small number of customers using specific email providers, indicating that they are not receiving emails from Rovatron. Until this issue is resolved with the email providers, these users will not receive emails from eSnipe. Meantime, you can always view the status of your bids on your My Auctions page on the website.
August 4 - eBay UK Bidding Issue (Continuing)
(Tuesday 17:53 PDT) We are finding bids placed on a VERY small number of auction items originating on eBay UK are being rejected with odd restrictions that are not applicable to the auction listings. This problem seems to be coming from a miscommunication between eBay USA (where eSnipe exclusively places bids) and eBay UK. Until eBay resolves this issue, the only way to avoid a possible rejected bid, would be to bid brrectly on eBay UK until this problem is resolved.
July 27 - eSnipe server problems (evening)
(Monday 18:00 PDT) From 17:40 to 17:43 PDT, there were eSnipe bidding problems. Some bidds failed with "Missed auction end" result message. eBay has recently made some changes to their ticket category for auctions held in GBP/EUR currency which interfere with eSnipe's ability to consistently and reliably place bids on these auctions. We strongly recommend our users bid on these types of auctions directly at eBay until further notice. We are diligently working on a fix for this issue and will update the bidding forecast once it has been tested and is proven reliable.
eSnipe will update this Current Bidding Forecast if there is a significant change in the medium-term trend (next 3 to 7 days).
